Check with muzzle-loaders.com first but watch for sales too. Even on MidWayUSA. They often have some great sale prices.
Least expensive Acurra right now is around $400 but for $450 you can get the MR. Its worth the extra $50 and the MR is a nicer rifle too.
Buds has the base Acurra for $366 with iron sights and free shipping but a good mount will end up being about the same price.

He has decided to wait until after the season and hope they may be on sale. I am going to loan him an extra I have. Thanks for the input.
Best price i ever saw was around $350 for any Acurra. MidwayUSA had some last year iirc for around $350 for the Mountain Rifle version. Sportmansguide sometimes gets models made just for them and they are usually cheaper.
