I need some info on the cva accura. I been wanting to upgrade from a #11 primer to a 209 , and ran across a cva accura with a camo thumbhole stock and stainless barrel on sale for 349. any info would be helpful
great muzzleloader! i have the ss/black thumbhole and it truly is a great accurate rifle. Handles and balances well. The trigger though is a huge selling point on the rifles. Mine is about 2lbs with no grit or creep.
that is a real good deal. thanks yeah i was looking at cabelas and ran across this . always wanted to try the thumbhole stock.
another question how is the breech plugs on these . can you take it out with your hand or got to have the breech plug wrench
The new optima and wolf have the finger removable breech plug. Really nice too. If i had to do it over again, i'd be up the creek deciding between the Optima and Accura V1. LOL

I'd definately go for one of the re-designed models from this year. Better trigger, better breechplug, better break-open lever, and most importanbtly, they redesigned that gawd-awful looking stock.
