3 shots grouped below the dot. 105 grains blackhorn, 195 gr barnes, last 3 shots after shooting 40 + times, no cleaning of any kind done during the shooting time.

Pretty good shooting. That's what I use in my encore with 85 grains by weight and they group very well also.

Not sure what you mean but for sure it has not been and is not nor will be for sale. I have killed deer to just over 200 yards with both my 45 cal muzzleloaders. was told about this load and tried it and it is the most accurate load I have shot.

Very nice shooting!!!

Very accurate combo out of my Knight Elite. First time using on deer this year, I expect great results.

Nice group Headhunter. Do you leave the bore fouled or did you go ahead and clean it? I always clean the bore between shots with BH209 cause I'm sighting POI for a clean bore.

Dirty, I hunt with all my guns with a "fouled" barrel. If I clean them, I go shoot and leave them fouled. My guns, especially the muzzleloader almost never hit the same spot clean and the inside of my barrels are spotless. It does not hurt, IMO, to leave the barrels fouled for a few weeks. Never has mine.

With blackhorn it doesn't matter with my encore if the barrel is clean or has several shots, they're all together. I couldn't do that with 777 or pyrodex.

Now don't clean that thing! Leave her dirty till you intend to put it up for the year is what I do. No issues here doing that for the past 3 or 4 years ever since Blackhorn came out.

I plan on doing the same with mine since switching to BH. Shot about 20 shots wo so much as a swab and it loaded the same each time, and after I finally got the mag primers into the equation, the accuracy was there as well. ;)
