Last year I finally got a Knight LKII stainless. I've wanted one at a decent price for years that didn't look like it fell ouy of someone's but. It was clean and in great shape. I bought 2 packs of Leupold 50028 bases so I could dual dovetail a scope and topped it off with a Burris droptine2-7x35 slug hunter. Shoot 90 grains pyrodex with a 300 grain Hornady SST and winchester w209 primer. Unlike my old LK93 which is blued, It's a 24" barrel, not a 22". Just feels too long and heavy to tote around the woods. Thinking about having a smith cut it and recrown it. What are your thoughts?
