I went to our deer lease this afternoon. Bout an hour before dark the gate must have opened up and the deer showed up. I watched until I couldn't take it any more. There were 2 deer that i could hear in the woods and never showed themselves in the food plot.
So I took this boy out of the herd. He had 15" spikes. 2-1/2 years old. I had some code blue hangin on a limb on the edge of the plot. The does didn't like it and the bucks must have been gay! They couldn't care less.
I've been chasing big bucks for so long. It was fun just to shoot!!!!

Good one to take... I love me some summer sausage! Especially when its got a little jalapeno pepper and cheese in it! Good mid day snack while pulling an all day fishing or rabbit hunting trip after deer season!
