Crossbow red dot sight

1. experience with red dot sight on crossbow --- If you sight in at 20 yds, can you still use the dot for 10 and 30 yds? (305 fps)

2. How sensitive are the built in mounts to heights? Some have much higher mounts.

3. What is a picatinny mount? Would this fit a Weaver type base?

With a red dot sighted in at 20 you may want to practice your holdovers/unders at 30 and 10. And a pictanny mount fits a pictanny/weaver style multi slotted base like the picture I have attached. I am also attaching a red dot I would recommend. Great scope for the price.
