I will be chasing em with a 12 gauge all day, whatever is legal. Since it's Friday that includes crows, if I can manage to shoot good enough to hit one. First I will be after the squirrels and then whatever else comes next. Would love to get a rabbit if I can.

Dang, having the worst luck....

First, came up on 2 grey squirrels on the way in, while I was walking on the road... Can't shoot from road. Then, I was settled in the woods and shot a grey, watched him fall, never found him. Then just now, I heard raspy barking and looked up to see a fox - a "trophy" squirrel to me - shot a few times, never saw him fall or run off or anything.

Last time I took my shotgun squirrel hunting, I took home every squirrel that I shot. Not sure what the deal is here.

Well it's gotten a little better... Walking to sit another section of woods I saw this one running on the ground and this time the 12 gauge did what it does best
