What do you guys use? The same shells you have in the gun, or something else? I usually buy a 100 round 2 3/4 Winchester Super X #6 Steel and use for doves and shooting cripples. Much cheaper than the 3 inch shells I shoot at flying ducks/geese. I will use one of the 3 inch shells if I still have one in the gun after the shooting is done for a quick shot, but usually pop in one of the cheap ones if I'm empty.

I just use what I am hunting with.
When you don't shoot any more than I do in a season the cost is irrelevant. :rotf:

Federal 2 3/4 #7's. Bought a case of them around $55-$60 bucks from Rogers a couple years ago. They stay in my cripple gun in the boat or kayak. Half as cheap and twice as effective within 25-30 yards.
