Planning on planting rye later this week, is it too late to add crimson into the mix?

Agree with @tellico4x4 - he's the clover genius. We planted 150 lbs of crimson and 50 lbs of ladino the last 2 weeks.
If you could see my mess this year you'd be telling him that I know nothing about plots

During last years drought, nothing but weeds could survive that.

Thanks for the replies, got a few extra pounds of balansa I'm going to add to it!
October is the best time to plant clover, rye is also a good choice as it will establish better than other cereal grains if it turns off cold.
After it sprouts throw down some 6-24-24

We added crimson clover to our cereal rye and winter wheat blend couple weeks back and also top sowed an exsisting clover plot recently...we just need more rain.
