I like the picture. You can see the bucks shadow in the water and the water is still rippling where he stepped. Cool.

Is it possible for a 1 year old to have that much head gear? If so that deer has to be in the top 1% of genetics in the COUNTRY much less TN [emoji13]

I think the very high camera angle make the body appear a lot smaller than it is , Buck is at least 2.5 if not older IMO!

That pic definitely makes him look older than the other one but he's still a young looking deer. I'd feel confident in a 2.5 yo age assessment but is love to hear from some of the other guys on this also

That's not a yearling buck at all, body is much more filled out, yearlings look like young does with antlers. There's no telling right now but he could be 2 or 3, possibly older but not likely. Top end 2 year old or decent 3 year old
