Creek fishing

What is your favorite creek lure? I fish Richland creek in Giles county. Also do you think the flathead catfish are still on bed in the creeks?This creek runs into the Elk river near Elkton,Tn-Giles Co.

I like drifting a crawdad on a carolina rig - smallmouth eat it up - don't know about the catfish, sorry.

I like to fish a knucklehead. I typically fish it with a dead drift but will twitch it every now and then.

zoom lizard - green pumpkin, watermelon seed - couple split shot a foot up the line

soft plastic craw of some sort (once in a while)

weightless zoom super fluke (white or similar baitfish color)

but can't beat live bait... stonerollers and crawfish, bring a cast net for the minnows when you get to shallow riffles
