crappie???

im having the hardest time finding any crappie. I've been fishing yellow creek and wells creek off the cumberland river and have absolutely no luck. Water temps have been 62-66 every time i've been out. Wonder what im doing wrong? maybe i should just try kentucky lake.

We didnt do no good at cross creeks today either.We use to fish in bull pasture and do good but I aint been in there this year.

on river across from elk harbor,fished elk harbor the weekend it opened i keep 5,donalds son keep 4 the same day.

sounds like you guys had a good trip. i might take my wife to elk harbor this weekend. Or we may must hit up one of my catfish holes on the river

try and go to williamsport lakes in columbia ive caught a lot of crappie there with one a 14 1/2 crappie right from the dock didnt think i would catch anything but i did!

one more thing if you do go there i would recommend going to blue cat. ive fished at shell cracker a couple times but not any that were keeper size but almost everything i caught at blue cat was decent size

ft. loudon/tellico, watts bar and douglas all have great crappie fishing.
