Even with the cold water, around 42 degrees, we pounded them yesterday. One of our stake beds was so laughably loaded that you literally couldn't get a jig withing 5 feet of it, without getting bit. I love this time of year :)
 
Beds are right now in 6 feet of water, need the water to come up about a foot or two, to really get the big slabs in them. We limited out yesterday with no problem, but not many females showing yet.

Tell me about it! The Beech river embayment is basically dry. Well, not literally, but just about non-fishable. Mud flat city.
