1.5 cup corn meal
1 cup flour
1 egg
1 Jalapeño
1/2 onion
Buttermilk

I had the grease a little bit too hot for hush puppies but they were great. I usually add a little corn to them but didn't have any this time.

Mines mostly the same minus the jalapeño. I'll add onion, garlic powder, slap yo mama seasoning, some shredded cheddar cheese, and a little brown sugar.

Try mexicorn - it's just a southwest corn with some peppers mixed in. Very good. I like a sweet and spicy
