Crappie biting?

I have been fishing the last six days after hunting in the morning. The crappie are biting but the numbers change from day to day. We had a lot of fun catching rock fish when the crappie were slow. This was in Humphreys county.

Now that's the way to do it! This weather has just screamed at me to go fishing. It's a shame a man has to work. Lord willing in 20 or 25 years I'll get to fish or hunt any nice fall day.
 
lol yeah i am with ya on the retirement and they are catching a few crappie at Cordell hull with a little size to them it is in smith county
 
Just got a report from a couple guides around paris landing didn't do too hot last wk but expect it to pick up over the next couple of wks.
 
I have been thinking about going out fishing for crappie . I have venison in the freezer , and need to add some fish fillets .
