I catch them here and there on trout magnets, not targeting them. None of any size though. I don't think the Caney is a prime resource for Crappie. I've heard of others catching a few here and there but if you're going out specifically for Crappie, I don't think that's the body of water to hit.

Crappie fishing below Center Hill dam is few and far between. I've caught 1 before fishing from the steps, and while helping TTU electrofish the Caney, the crappie population in the river was not very high at all.
