Crap happens

I have not and do not use cameras. I have nothing against them, but I do not use them. To me it takes something away from hunting.

The guys that hunt the neighboring property had pictures of the deer in the pic, bunch of them.

He came out for me Saturday morning, wide open, broadside, 100 yards, I missed him. Nosler m48 rifle in 26 nosler. Last group I shot with it was under half inch at 100 yards. I have killed 8 deer with it since I got it, none have taken a step. 142 gr long range accubond at about 3500 feet per second. No clue, I had to of flinched, jerked or something. I don't know.
Both G2's are spllit and for a nice buck. Made me sick.

Other than the couple hours I did my best to find him and finally realizing I missed, I spent 10 hours a day in the stand, the same stand. I average seeing 20 deer or so every morning and evening. All day Monday and Tuesday I don't think I saw 10 deer total.

Wednesday morning, 8 degrees when I got out of the truck, the deer were moving from the break of day til I got lucky. There is a great story, but I will just say he showed back up, chasing does, and I made sure I made a good shot. He dropped in his tracks.

14 pts, dressed 182 lbs and he may make 150". If not he will be close.
