So I was hunting this morning after seeing 6 deer I had what looked like a big healthy male coyote come in and mill about. I usually love to shoot coyotes but couldn't bring myself to drop the hammer due to fear of messing up my hunt. So do you guys always shoot them on sight when deer hunting? If it was rifle season i for sure would of lowered the boom on him.

My brother and I have a deal, coyote gets shot no matter what time or what deer are around. I have not been tested on this but once at midday.

They never help fawns and poults survive when they're just getting started.

They're not helpful to have around, not welcome around where I hunt.

Im sure if you shoot several, you'll see an increase in game for the spring of 2022.

I ALWAYS shoot them, no matter what.

I let one walk last year in a doe bedding area with a hot doe and bucks nearby... normally I shoot them on sight. I've shot one so far this fall
