Killed this about 6:30. It ran off the 2 toms I was working. Don't know why its upside down.

Good job! But if those toms were actually coming to you they will settle down in 30min to and hour and still come in unless they gobble up a real hen first. You can kill the yotie, sit tight, and birds will come back. Done it a couple times in the past few years.

I didn't know what was going on with them when the yote came through. They flew up in the trees. They finally calmed down and flew down again. I tried calling them back, and they came in a ways. I saw them but, could never get a clear shot. They hung around a few minutes but, ended up going over the hill into the holler. Couldn't get them to fire up again. That's why they call it hunting..... :roll:
