Coyote cry?

So last few weekends, I have heard what I think is a coyote calling. Sounds like a---ok that's stupid of me cuz I can't spell how it sounds. Sounds like a cry or a bird? Not a typical howl. This may be difficult for y'all to help but thought I would ask.

Might be a barred owl, if those are around middle TN. If not , that's kinda what I hear.
