Cover scents

Just thought id pass this along, not sure if it works but a guy told me he puts the cedar-wood oil in his detergent and it works well for him. I actually used some vanilla on this evening hunt. had a 6 point down wind, I was sitting in a chair on the edge of a field. He differently smelled the vanilla but never got spooked.

Yeah a buddy of mine thought that would be a good idea. Mixed up a batch of stuff and smeared it all over him, come sun up he got stung by everything in the woods, had to be hospitalized it was so bad. Be careful what you wish for.

That's horrible, I have had the vanilla mixed up for a long time. Use to spray it on boots on the way to stand. Never saw any benefit so I stop Was actually carrying it to pour out after finding it in my bag. I never sprayed it on my body just the grass twigs ect. I feel like it helped today though as deer was within 20yards downwind
