I am curious about what ya'll do about your cover scent. I hunt around and in a lot of cedar thickets. Generally I leave my clothes in an old cedar chest when I am not wearing them in the woods and cover them with widdled cedar limbs. I also use tinks earth scent on my shoes going in. It seems to work since I have seen many deer moving underneath and around my stands. I hunt on top of a wooded hill and gets pretty windy during the fall/winter so any advice is appreciated. Any thoughts here?

I brake up cedar branches and rub them on me and the stick them in a pocket. I also step in a cow patty if I am hunting an area that have cattle.

I mainly keep me and everything clean and stored properly and nothing goes on til I get out of truck.. However I do keep a bottle of Scent Away in my bag and use it some. And also keep Scent Away fresh earth bottle in my bag also. I use it for my boots and spray em down on entry and exit.

I think a clean you and clothing is the #1 thing to be strict about, along with storage of your clothes. And I never hunt some areas unless the wind is perfect..
