Can I use these for duck?

These belonged to my papaw.
I've heard stories about killing duck with lead. Said you could stack em up.

If they are steel, knock yourself out. It ain't worth the fine to me to get caught with lead shells in the blind. And depending on the warden, it could be a fine per shell I hear.

I've heard the same thing. With 2 boxes that gets $$$!!!

Since they were my papaws I'm really not interested in selling them.
Jokingly I asked if I could use these. No intentions to shoot ducks with them.
The only thing that might tell about how old they are is the tn ammunition tax was .03 cents on one and .05 the other.
I think that 1991 was when the ban on lead was started. Could be wrong on that. Pap had a Remington 1100 magnum 20 ga. I'd like to get it one day . Anyway it shoots 3 in. Shells. My uncle has it now so maybe one day.
