Finally knocked a couple off my list of "firsts" - coues and javi. Was in the mountains just south of the AZ border for five days. The boar javi I killed on day 3 (killed two actually, but left one with the rancher). The coues was on day five. He scores 94", which is B&C equivalent of a 154" whitetail. I passed on one the first day pushing 100"-107"; it was the first morning and he was busted up a little from fighting. The fourth day I got on one that was 110"-115", but he wouldn't afford me time for a shot, as he was chasing a hot doe around. Then a dern rain storm pushed me out. I love desert deer hunting. The glassing, seeing multiple deer daily and long range shooting beats a tree stand any day in my book.
