Corrosive Ammo

B/c of raising prices I've been considering some MilSurp corrosive ammo for my 8mm mauser. I've never delt with it before. I have read where you need to clean you gun ASAP, but does that mean taking the whole thing apart and cleaning all the inner working at the range or just the areas that contact the bullet. Then do standard cleaning when you get home?

Anyother additional info I would need to know before using corrosive ammo would be greatly appreciated.

I would clean the whole rifle. Anything that comes in contact with the powder residue will corrode.
