My late corn did well. It's RR and I did throw and mow in late June. I let the weeds hide it from the turkeys and deer then sprayed instead of drilling. I've sewn wheat and oats all around and still have more to do . About 3 acres of the wheat is coming in pretty good but is hard to see in the pic .

As big as corn seed is, I'm amazed that it did so well with throw & mow. Great job!
Me too. The rain coming at perfect times helped. The thatch kept it protected from the deer and turkey. The turkey tear up the seed on bare ground even using a drill. Deer destroy the fresh tender green when it's 3-4" tall so I tried this and thankfully it worked !
