anybody here fish it and have you heard what kind of progress has been made with the petitions that have been going around also heard about meeting at smith county courthouse over this whole thing how did that go or has it even happened yet
 
I fish Cordell Hull quite a bit. The slot limit has passed, but I did hear that there were petitions going around trying to get it reversed.
 
It comes in effect march 1. Id say its to late to reverse it bc the new guides will be out soon. Maybe next year. The people who changed it dont fish anyways, they just mess it up for every1 else. Maybe if every1 quit buying license they would start having a majority vote or something.
 
I think the meetin is at Smith Co AG Center next week sometime,,

I think it has more to do with the tournaments than anything,,how many of the fish that are released after weigh in go belly up??

besides catching 22 inch LM sounds like fun,,LOl
 
i fish it every weekend during the spring and summer and have wanted some sort if size limit for long time don't really matter to me what kind the only thing that i hate about that one is that everybody seems to be saying that they will not fish any more tournaments on that lake and that stinks because i love fish tours there and i wonder about the tuesday evening tours out of granville that was a good one that helped needy children
 
Yea, I think it will affect tournaments badly bc the slot limit is 2 under 17 and 1 over 23 inches. Two good fish under 17 wont weigh no more than 3 lb a piece and you probly wont ever catch a large mouth over 23 inches most big bass aint over 23 inches. So the winner of the tment will be the 2 biggest largemouth or 4 if they are 2 people.
