I have a great pyrenese that sleeps in the corn at night. NOTHING gets in! 
Yep, live trap followed with a dose of lead will work.

ya i have a live trap out but havent caught one but i did spray the bottoms of them (not on the corn) with sulfur and boy does it stink but i think its keeping them away.

I ran hot wires around my garden to keep deer and coons out. I ran them from 3" above the ground to about 6 feet high. It worked.
