Cooler Weather and Movement

So with the cooler weather this past couple of days and this weekend, do y'all think daytime movement will be up? Will there still be a majority of movement being done at night? I'm hoping things are really going to heat up this weekend.

That's what I was thinking as well. Got a busy day tomorrow but I'll be there in the stand Friday morning and as much as I can be this weekend.

This weekend should be real good! I've seen some young bucks on move during day light, but hoping this high pressure with cooler temps gets their paw and grandpa on their feet.

I'm pumped for this weekend. I even took off Monday from work to have a 3 day hunt! Can't wait. Looks like Sunday morning will be the coldest!!!

These cooler daytime temps should definitely help daytime movement. Its actually been pretty good all season here but this should help even more.

Any talk or questions pertaining to rutting or deer movement are kind of generic unless asking about a specific area... considering there is so much diversity in that timing around the state. Generally speaking though, the drops in temperature from record highs should stimulate some deer movement everywhere.

Hunting this morning over in Smith County, saw probably 7 Deer between daylight and about 8. Nice beautiful cold and foggy morning to be out. Unfortunately didn't find any boys chasing behind the women, but there's always next time.

I have the same philosophy as some of you. With newborn twins, a 2 year old and family obligations, the best time to hunt is when I can hunt.

I agree "just go hunt" and I go when I can. Just using the forum for what it is for... to talk about deer stuff. The fact of whether or not they are chasing, moving, what the weather is like, how the wind is, what moon phase it was the night before, etc. won't effect whether or not I am out there. I just like to talk about what is going on.
