Cool young buck showed up!

I saw him Tuesday morning for the first time. He was walking down a fence row so I just thought it was a calf on first glance until he went under the fence. I hope all the neighbors will let him walk.

I have one 8 point mounted I killed in Giles Co. and my grandson killed one in Lincoln Co. one year . Meant to have the hide tanned but like mine something got it one night and messed it up ....thinking cats . The one my grandson killed a doe when I first seen it I thought it was the albino we had seen on the neighbors property but his had a little brown on it ....boy was I relieved. He got carried away one morning downing three .

I've only ever seen one in real life. At one glance I immediately knew what it was and got super excited. I saw it on the roadside in a memphis suburb. I almost wrecked my truck doing a U turn and pulled into an unknown driveway just to film it with my phone. Piebalds are super special. This was back in spring of 2022. Looked like a fawn with his mom who was normal.

I hope he makes it till next year but if not, I hope the hunter gets the full pelt tanned and keeps it.
