cool weather cloathing?

im looking for some suggestions on a good jacket and pants combo for cool weather bow hunting. ive been looking at the scent blocker dream season pullover jacket and pants i really like them but just dont know if they would be to warm or not warm enough. I will probably layer them later in the season with my bibs and parka.

I've had good luck this season using the under armour 3.0 base layers. I got them on sale from the manufacture website. They keep me warm and ive been able to hunt with those and just pants and a shirt in the low 40's and comfortably with bibs and a a shirt in the mid 30's

Scent-lok clothing is not designed for warmth. Its designed to adsorb odor. If you need warmth, the standard hunter recipe I use is:
Base layer next to skin that wicks away moisture,
Thermal long johns,
Micro fleece shirt and/or pants depending on temps,
Wool shirt/pants if extremely cold,
Oversize scent-lok shirt/pants to wear over all other clothes.

Remember that most of your body heat is lost through your head, hands and feet. If you wear wool hats, gloves and thermal socks you will be surprised how warm you will be.

The really important thing to remember is that after it turns cold, cotton has no place in your hunting clothing mix. Its ok when its warm or just cool out, but if you want to be warm in the cold weather skip the cotton.

Ditto, couldn't have said it better. "Cotton" = the death cloth!
You can get hypothermia on a windy 75 deg. day, wearing a wet cotton T shirt.
