I've got a Pedersoli Frontier 36 in caplock and I'm considering converting to flintlock. It appears all I need is a new lock and touch hole liner. Has anybody done this? What do you think? Where would you suggest I look for parts?

Yes it can be done. With most of the mass produced guns, the gun itself is one and the same with the only difference being the means of ignition between flint and percussion. So, if you removed the drum and installed a touch hole liner I'd suspect the Pedersoli FL for that model should drop in. New parts are available I'm pretty sure.
I found this one: http://www.vtigunparts.com/store/default.asp
This lock on Ebay may be your lock but not sure: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Flintlock-Blac ... SwqvNagwlw
Even better...L&R lock company, I think, makes a replacement lock that might be suitable. It is a better lock than the original but would probably require some fitting:

Thanks for your help. I called VTI and they are holding the parts for me while waiting for Pedersoli to confirm it will work with my serial number.
