yep I've got an 870 and a mossberg. How come you don't like mossberg?

past experiences with three different model 500's has turned me off of mossbergs. i already have 3 870's and was probably leaning toward a 4th but wanted y'all's opinions.

I'll be different and say Ithaca Model 37. Nothing wrong with a Benelli or Beretta as well. Its hard to argue against an 870, except for the fact that Remmy has really cheapened them up over the last couple of years, I would rather have an older 870. Mossburg would be last on my list.

For a tactical shotgun, I'd go with a Remington 870. But I'd also look at a Benelli, Ithaca, or Beretta like Kimberman said.

I have a Mossberg 500 pump, and it's good for what it is.

Stik, check with your local law enforcement and see what they use. Heck, they might even use Mossberg.
