I've done a small amount of duck hunting without a lot of success. It has been suggested that I get a guide for the Conservation Hunt so that I can have a better experience.

I don't know anything about the Conservation Hunt other than what it says in the Waterfowl Guide about a 20-goose limit, no gun plug required, and electronic calls are legal. But where does this take place? I don't see anything about this being in a restricted area.

I would appreciate any information and guide suggestions/recommendations. Thanks.

I personally would go to Arkansas. I would recommend bustin geese outfitters, they are pricey, but good! You don't have to buy an Arkansas license either, just print off the snow goose permit and have your state's license. The conservation season is for light geese only ( snow, blue, and Ross). So if you want to go duck hunting, you have to go during regular season.
