You have a FINE article published in the August 2008 edition of Quality Whitetails !

What a great follow-up to your seminar this past Friday!
Perfect timing!

By the way, which "Panelist" are you on page 16 of this issue?

Yup, Panelist B.

Thanks for the kudos on the article. I had no idea it was going to be the lead article.

And Brian Murphy just called me to see if he could quote my article in an article he is writing for a bow-hunting magazine.

Good article in QW. It seems that the more edges you have in low laying areas and funnels the better.

Yup. And look for edges or other linear features running up and down secondary points. If you have two or three identical secondary points, but only one has an old logging road running down it, bucks will use the one with the road the vast majority of the time.

Yep - my grandfather told me something when I first started hunting back in the 60's - he said '....son, deer are 'creatures of the edge'...watch the edes close and wait....'

I never forgot that - and still use that today - I didn't really understand then - but I sure do now -

ferg....

Congrats on the fine "RUBLINE" write-up Bryan.I think QDMA is the most informative magazine on the market!I really love all the good information in their reads and I have yet to read a copy that I didn't like.

Thanks. Just a synopsis of my talk at the National Convention. Although Brian Murphy is using it in an article for Bowhunting World and Patrick Durkin, ex-editor for Deer and Deer Hunting, is also quoting it in another article.
