I'm seeing plenty of buck sign tracks and rubs and scrapes but yet to see a buck in area. I killed a doe on 2nd day of muzzleloader in this area but not seeing any bucks or chasing going on. The tracks are along edge of a field and just inside the woods they are several rubs on small and big trees wonder why these bucks are not coming through during daylight hours? And there is plenty of food in area

Go farther into the woods is the first thing I'd do. Also rut probably is just getting started so they aren't chasing hard yet.

If there are thickets I'd be hunting close to those and make sure the wind is not blowing into them.

MY bucks will not step foot into a field. They work the edges about 40-50 yards inside of them. Killed my good 8 pt skirting it this way. Only the does come into the field. I have a bunch of little bucks on our property and they rub everything. 50-60 rubs down the trails.

Should I try using any deer urine or anything I haven't ever tried any that stuff I've always done hunting the traditional way and go by instincts,
No need to purchase anything like that. If you want to use urine, use your own. It costs much less.

Works very well in scrapes/mock scrapes

Absolutely. Like planking said, it works great in scrapes and mock scrapes. I wouldn't intentionally post anything to steer you wrong. So leave your pee bottle at home and find a scrape or make a mock scrape. Good luck. Get after them.

your own piss will either work fine or it won't work. Haven't heard of it spooking deer, but have heard of bottle doe piss spooking does and not attracting older bucks. Just hunt the way you have except move closer to thick cover, the kind of stuff you overlook because it's too dense to walk through, or someplace you have always overlooked, the older bucks know where you don't go and they like to stay hidden during the day.
