I read where someone was asking about changing props.. my boat came with a aluminum prop.. its a 75hp merc 4 stroke... I tore it up and ordered another... I tore it up and for $99 dollars I think I bought a Comprop.. it runs perfect... well I ordered another one for a spare and sure enough I hit a log or rock and tore it up.. so I put on my spare and ordered another spare..i'm telling you.. for the money you cant beat em... i'm about ready to order another one..I chipped the one my boat the other day.. it still runs fine but you can see the damage when the boat is on the hoist.. IMO they are as reliable as any aluminum prop..

I ran them on my bass boats for years and have torn them up also.. I do use one on my deck boat with a 175 optimax.. if I can go a year fishing on a $99 dollar prop im happy..

wilson lake.. below wheeler dam... that place is like a mine field.. your going to hit a car sized rock or a submerged log every time you go out...LOL

I fish Reelfoot lake and hit stumps all the time, Aluminum is the only way to go in stump infested waters.
Open water any and all props are good.
