I was looking around on line today killing time and said, dude, see what one of these costs...

General Google search on the same above and was shocked at what turned up for values on these pistols. Lowest I saw was $1400.

Now, it has been a while since I looked at pistols for purchase...but really? Is my search off? Am I doing something wrong? What did I screw up? I looked at GunBroker, Guns America, etc. Please tell me I am not doing something right and these are not up to date prices for these pistols.

That's about right. They haven't made them for several years and are now considered collector pieces. Same goes for the Pythons and Anacondas.

I saw where a Python was on a list of guns to be auctioned off close to my house about 4 weeks ago. I went to the auction with hopes of bidding on it and a couple of other guns. The python was blued, not stainless, and went for $3,795!!! Needless to say it didn't come home with me.

I have a family member that had a matching set of pythons in 6" and 4" barrels, pristine safe queens. He got in a bad spot and I was afraid he would sell them, but when I offered to buy or pawn them for him he insisted he would never part with them. He sold them to a pawn shop for $800 for the set.
