Well, I doubt the Buckeyes will have that Outback Bowl match-up with the Vols this year.

I just thought it was funny that a Bama fan is trumpeting being ranked number one after September given they are the reigning national runner-up. At the end of October when the real poll comes out, I predict the defending national champion will be ranked number one. As for the Buckeyes, who knows.

Bama is currently #1 in both major polls. The ESPN Power Rankings have Clemson 1 and Bama 2 (not to be confused with the ESPN Power Index which has Bama 1 and Clemson 4). It's all lies, d@mn lies, and statistics. Like Scioto said, nothing really matters until the CFP ranking comes out, and all of THOSE are just practices until the real one comes out in December.
