This cold has about worn me out. It's too cold to even fling a couple ends.

Anyone else ready to start shooting again?
 
A buddy told me he shoots every night after work.
In his garage at about 8 yards. Made me feel real good that I haven't touched mine in a month or two.

I blank bale in the garage but this cold is even making the garage miserable lol
 
I aint shot since early November I hate shooting in cold. I will start back up again no matter what in the end of February so ill be ready for turkeys ive talked myself into turkey hunting with a bow some this year.

I might be in the same boat as you with the turkeys. But I aint gonna start practicing until I know my hands will not become frozen to the bow

I've been shooting about every 3 days until my face starts to go numb. Trying to get some decent weather in so I can start fine tuning my longer distance pins on this spot hogg.
 
Cold weather shooting does have is advantages. If you bowhunt in cold weather , then practicing in cold weather, you will be dressed close to the same. I admit that shooting in shorts and a t-shirt is more convenient but I have cut more shooting sessions short because of sweat rolling down in my eyes than being to cold to shoot.
 
I agree. The cold doesnt bother me too much as long as my contacts aren't freezing to my eyeballs. It's really the wind that's the problem. I all for practing in the wind but that's assuming my sight has already been dialed in.
