Cold weather boots

I am in the market for a pair of cold weather boots. My feet get cold REAL easy.
I've heard good things about the Muck Boot Woody Max. I have a pair of their barn shoes and really like them.

Anyone have first hand experience with these? How easy are they to walk pretty long distances in?

Any other suggestions?

Hard to beat for the price and comfort; however, walking in them long distances WILL make your feet sweat!

I got a pair of Mucks for Xmas last year. Hands down, best boots I have ever had.

I love my muck boots. great for cold weather .They are easy to pull on ..I use some good bass pro wool sock with a toasty toes warmer. my feet don't get cold ...

If you have a long walk to the stand, either wear regular shoes/unisulated boots, or at least bring a change of socks.

If I have to walk in over 20 mins, I sit down at the tree I climb and take my worn-in socks off, air my feet out for a min or 2 them put on fresh ones. This helps a ton on those cold days.

Woody Max are the best boots I have ever hunted in. They handle all situations well. And as far as your feet sweating, If I am dressed for cold weather and have to walk a long ways, my feet would sweat in tennis shoes. You can roll the top of the boot down and allow some of the heat to purge from the boot. I know we want to keep our stinky feet smell in the boot, but you let all that scent out at your stand if you change socks. I nearly always leave my Woodies rolled down to help keep my feet cool until the last 100 yards or so then roll them up to enter my setup.
