Just wondering what other people think, What type of clover is best to plant for deer? I'm already thinking about spring food plots.

I've got one area where i need a perennial, but most of my plots i have to replant every year due to the river flooding and they do have some shade because they are in the woods (1/2 acre plots). I was thinking if i plant clover after the normal spring flood then i can keep them up so i can have food in them throughout summer into fall.

I've heard that Durana is good, i've never tried it yet because I have had such good luck with Ladino.
Once established Ladino will last easily 4-5 years.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that duranna is a little better suited to upland drier areas and ladino will tolerate wetter areas better.
