CLOVER,FOOD PLOT MIX

THINKING OF PLANTING PATRIOT CLOVER, RED CLOVER AND WHEAT. WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD RATIO OF EACH? ANY IDEAS ON CHANGES?

We planted a mix of 50% durana,50% red clover, with oats and wheat as a cover crop.

Another mix we used was 75% Crimson clover,25% Arrow-leaf, with oats and wheat as a cover crop.

Good mixes right there!!

Also, pounds per acre, you can go anywhere from 60 to 120 on your wheat/oats and run your clovers at 8 to 10lbs per acre,

That is usually more than enough..

That durana is hard to beat. It has choked down the weeds in one of my plots. Three years and still going strong. Havent done a thing but mow it twice a year.
