Got a buddy's place where we planted 100 sawtooth oak seedlings in an old field this past January. We didn't get a chance to spray the field ahead of time. I was wondering if anybody has ever sprayed clethodim over there sawtooths. The label says oaks are tolerant to the chemical but I'm skeptical because of there small size. I know I can spray around them but I'd like to kill the whole field of grass with the boomless sprayer. 90% of the field is fescue. Just curious if anybody else has done this. Thanks.
