Clearing around orchard?

My fruit trees are on the edge of my food plot, the sides of the plot are steep and have cedars and japanese honeysuckle. I spent all day clearing around the edges and have about 3 more days to finish it up. Should I and can I spray to kill the honeysuckle? I know the spray will work in the spring.

I would never want to kill honeysuckle on my farm,I might spray around the trees to keep it back though.
