clear cut

just found out today that the spot that i like to bow hunt had been clear cut. this is about 4 years in a row i find a spot on north cumberland wma and it has been clear cut. it sucks.

It sucks but it is what it is. Get to walking and find another spot.

yeah i know the feeling had the same problem for about 5 years now they are clear cutting everywhere up here

Yep. We had about 25 acres cut on the farm about 3 years ago. It's looking rally good this year!!!!

I love hunting first year clear cuts.If you can find a tree to get up in,you can see really good.But after that,it sucks.

If it was cut early in the year it will be full of deer. I watched 4 shooters the other evening feed in one that was cut during tirkey season.

Um this may be weird. But I hunted a fresh cut some years back, and I shot a 200 lb doe walking right down the middle of it. They were still using their trails as if the forest was still there. Just a thought.
