Ok my muzzleloaders are sighted in! I sighted them in on the final shot swabbing once before the last shot.

So now they are sighted in with a swabbed barrel. Do I berak them down and clean them spotless or do I leave it as is for the opener the day after tomorrow?

Yeah,I clean mine.AFter sighting in,i will clean them, then take them back out and make sure they shoot the same with a clean barrel as they do with a dirty barrel.

nope, i never break mine down to clean after checking zero a day before hunting. i just run a couple wet and dry patches and thats it.

I am following the instructions with the FPB's which direct you to fire two caps before loading to create a seal for the bullet. I swabbed above the bullet with a lubbed patch and am ready for the opening day.

i would clean it. i don't like leaving the fouling in the barrel for that long. seen several muzzleloaders ruined like that.
