Ok, went on the archery hunt on Friday (had an anniversary on Saturday). When we checked out at dark, 13 deer were killed Friday and my buddy had the second best buck (a 4-pointer - somebody got a 12!). It was mentioned earlier on here about the effect of the local EHD outbreak. Must have had a tremendous effect on the deer population there. I did post before that I had contacted them regarding this and was told it was no worse than any other year and another poster (don't remember who and am not going back to look) said he had called as well and was told the opposite. I will say this, I don't post often and when I do, it is either what I have been told or what I have witnessed. I will say, something has hurt the herd there. Hope everybody has a successful remainder of the season.
