This may be a stupid question but I need to know, can I go pattern a shotgun and sight in an AR @ the firing range then proceed to scout for the turkey hunt I was drawn for? In other words can I have these guns with me in a case unloaded while driving on the WMA while no hunts are taking place?

It says the range is closed during all big game quota hunts. I'm not sure how having the unauthorized weapon would be viewed. It would be best to give the Area Manager Dustin Mccubbins a call at (865) 278-3248.
