Me and my son hunted daylight to dark both days. I saw 2 doe Friday and he saw 2 doe and nice shooter that just got away. He hunted same spot today and saw a doe and fawn at 8, 10, and 3. I changed locations and saw 11 doe. Neither of us saw another hunter in the woods and based on the line to get in, I don't believe half of the hunters drawn showed up. Annoying that folks put in and get drawn and don't go, knocking others out who would like to go.

amen brother, I would have given my eye teeth to been there this weekend!! first time ive not been drawn in fourteen years and the ones who did don't even show up!!!

I don't think I'll put in for there anymore! I got drawn on the muzzleloader and I can really tell a decline in the deer population. I hunted a big oak ridge for 5 years and this year it had been cut to the ground. Its hard for deer to survive and grow in a place that has no food! Its not that their not moving! Their not there!!!
